The physical colour card is free — it shows all our collections with swatches painted in real paint. A 100 ml sample pot costs €9.50 and covers about 1.5 m², enough to paint two or three patches and judge the shade in your own light before ordering your litres. Because our paints are tinted to order, the sample is your best insurance.
The real figure
Tins are not compared by their price but by what they cover. Marble Matt Emulsion covers up to 15 m² per litre per coat; the multi-surface finishes about 12 m²/L. A 2.5 L tin of Marble Matt therefore covers up to 37 m² in one coat — a little under 19 m² in the two coats we recommend.
Set against the tin price, that works out at about €6.45 per square metre for two coats of Marble Matt Emulsion. That is the figure to hold up against a paint that is cheaper per tin but covers less, or needs a third coat to hide the wall.

Our paints are ground from natural earths and minerals, generously dosed — Marble Matt Emulsion carries more pigment than any other paint in our catalogue. That is what gives the depth of colour, and that is what costs.
02
Our emulsions contain crushed Carrara marble: a denser, tougher film with a mineral feel. A noble filler, where many paints make do with chalk.
03
Every tin is made and tinted in the house's single manufactory at West Norwood, to the colour's archived recipe — then checked against its master. No ageing stock, no approximate batch.
04
15 m²/L coverage, high hiding power, a class 1 washable matt that does not need redoing every two years: a paint that costs more per tin and often less per square metre and over time.

Frequently asked
Yes, every price on the site is shown inclusive of all taxes, in euros. Trade account holders can switch the display to ex-VAT from the site header; the amount charged remains the VAT-inclusive amount.
The great majority, yes: the grid above gives the starting price of each finish. A few shades cost a little more. Each colour's exact price is on its page, before any payment.
As a rule the price per litre falls as the tin grows: the 5 L is the best value, then the 2.5 L. But leftover paint is no saving: work out your square metres first, then choose the closest combination of tins — the calculator does it for you.

A 100 ml sample pot costs €9.50 and covers about 1.5 m². The physical colour card is free. Always order a sample before your litres: an unopened tin can be returned within 30 days, but a tin that has been started cannot.
It is free from €75. Below that, Colissimo and Mondial Relay rates are shown at the Delivery step, before any payment. Colour cards on their own go free by tracked post.
