mylands.fr, the manufactory at your door

Mylands is a London manufactory, family-owned since 1884. In France the brand is operated under licence by Peinture Shop, from a warehouse in Occitanie: that is where your tins, samples and colour cards ship from, and here, on mylands.fr, is where all the selling happens. There is no other official site for the brand in France.

You will find the entire range — the 172 signature shades in every finish, samples, colour cards, primers, tools and wood finishes — at the same VAT-inclusive prices for everyone, with a French team answering Monday to Friday.

How to buy, in four steps

Start with the colour card — it is free

The physical colour card shows all our collections with swatches painted in real paint. It is free and sent by tracked post. Meanwhile the digital colour card shows every shade on screen, and the visualiser puts it on a photo of your room.

Test with a sample pot

A 100 ml sample pot (from €9.50) covers about 1.5 m²: enough to paint two or three patches and watch the colour morning and evening in your own light. An unopened tin can be returned within 30 days, but a tin that has been started cannot — the sample is still your best insurance.

Order your tins

Choose the colour, the finish and the size; the How much to order page and the calculator tell you how many litres to plan for. Pay by card, PayPal, Google Pay or Klarna; approved trade accounts can pay on account.

Receive them at home or at a pickup point

Ordered before 2.30pm on a working day, it ships the same day. Colissimo to your door or a collection point, Mondial Relay to a pickup point — in 2–3 working days, Corsica included. Delivery is free from €75; the detail is on the Delivery & returns page.

Seeing before buying

No showroom — but everything you need to judge at home

We have no showroom open to the public in France: our premises in Occitanie are a logistics warehouse. Nothing replaces your own light for judging a shade anyway — which is why the colour card is free and the sample pots inexpensive. A wall painted at home says more than a panel in a shop.

Before you order

Is Mylands sold in DIY or decorating shops in France?

Today the paint is sold mainly online, at mylands.fr. A network of independent stockists is being built; contact us to find out whether there is one near you. Mylands is not a DIY-superstore paint: it is sold online and through specialist stockists.

Can I order from the Netherlands, Germany or another European country?

mylands.fr delivers to mainland France, Corsica included. For an address outside France — the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and most of Europe — order directly from mylands.com, the London manufactory's own site, which ships to many European countries. Not sure about your destination? Write to us and we will point you the right way.

Are the prices the same for everyone?

Yes: every price on the site is shown inclusive of VAT, in euros, identical for every visitor. Only approved trade accounts see their own price list applied. The Mylands paint prices page gives starting prices by finish and tin size.

Can I return a tin of paint?

Yes, as long as it is unopened: you have 30 days from receipt to return any unused item in its original packaging — paint included — for a refund. That is our 'Easy returns' promise, which goes beyond the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (which in principle excludes tins tinted to order, article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code). A tin that has been opened or started, on the other hand, cannot be taken back: hence the importance of the sample pot.

How long will my order take?
