Dispatch

Every order leaves our warehouse in Occitanie, near Toulouse, from which Mylands ships across mainland France.

An order placed before 2.30pm on a working day (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) is handed to the carrier the same day; after 2.30pm, or at the weekend, it leaves the next working day. Each service's estimated delivery date is shown at the Delivery step, before any payment.

Every tin is tinted to order, in the colour and finish you chose — which is also why a confirmed order leaves quickly: if you need to change it, write to us straight away.

Carriers & lead times

The services below are the ones you will find at the Delivery step. Which of them you are offered depends on what is in the basket and on the destination — a colour card ordered on its own, for instance, travels as tracked letter post rather than as a parcel.

Service Handover Time after dispatch Price
Mondial Relay – Point Relais Pick-up point approx. 3 working days €4.50
Chronopost – Point Relais Pick-up point approx. 2 working days €4.50
Mondial Relay – Domicile To your door approx. 5 working days €5.95
Chronopost – Point Relais 24 h Pick-up point approx. 1 working day €7.95
Colissimo – Domicile To your door approx. 2 working days €8.50
La Poste – Lettre timbrée Colour cards only To your door approx. 3 working days Free

Indicative prices: the exact cost of your delivery is shown at the Delivery step, before any payment, and can fall with the value of the basket — it is free from €75 for the services taking part in the offer.

Free delivery

Three roads lead there — your basket tells you at any moment where you stand, and how much is left if you are close.

€75 of anything

Any order of €75 or more is delivered free of charge, whatever it contains.

Colour cards alone

A basket made up only of colour cards travels free, as tracked letter post, straight to your letterbox.

Sample pots

A sample set — or 4 or more sample pots — ordered on their own travel free as well.

Tracking & receipt

As soon as your order leaves, you receive an email with the carrier's tracking link. If you have an account, the status and tracking of every order are also in My account. Check your spam folder if the email is slow to arrive.

Larger orders sometimes travel in several parcels, arriving a day or two apart: your dispatch email lists what is in each one, so check it before worrying about a missing item.

A parcel arrives damaged?

Note your reservations with the carrier on delivery if the damage is visible, then photograph the outer box, the packaging and the affected tins before unpacking any further. Send those photos with your order number through the contact form: we replace or refund the items concerned, at no cost to you. A missing item is reported the same way.

Returns

Ordered too much paint, chosen the wrong finish or changed your mind on the colour? No worries. You have 30 days from receipt of your order to send back, for a refund, any item that is unused and in its original packaging — colour cards, tools, accessories, wood care products and unopened tins of paint.

That is our 'Easy returns' promise. It goes beyond the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, which in principle excludes paint tinted to order, and does not replace it.

What about tinted paint?

Every tin is mixed to the colour and finish you chose, at the moment you ordered it: the law (article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code) excludes goods made to your specification from the right of withdrawal. We go further: an unopened tin comes back to us and is refunded, within 30 days, like any other item. Only a tin that has been opened or started cannot be taken back — which is why we always recommend a sample pot first: 100 ml covers around 1.5 m², enough to judge a shade at home, at different times of day.

None of this takes anything away from your statutory rights: a faulty, misdescribed or transit-damaged product is taken back, replaced or refunded — see 'Refunds' below.

How to return something

Tell us about your return

From your account: in My account › My orders, open the order and click « Request a return », before sending anything back. Ordered without an account? Use the contact form, with your order number and the items concerned.

We reply

We confirm the return address and how to proceed, Monday to Friday — in your account, and by e-mail.

Send the items back

Complete, unused, in their original packaging — tins of paint unopened — within 30 days of receipt. Keep your proof of postage until the refund lands.

Return postage is yours to cover when you change your mind; it is ours when the item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered.

Refunds

The refund is issued once the return has arrived and been checked, to the payment method used for the order, within 14 days at the latest. Allow a few further working days, depending on your bank, before the amount shows on your statement.

Independently of returns and the right of withdrawal, every product carries the statutory guarantees of conformity and against hidden defects: to invoke them, write to us with your order number, a photo of the product and, if possible, of its label — it carries the batch number, which lets us trace the production run. The detail is in our terms of sale.
