Free paint colour chart to download: every Mylands colour

Three colour charts, all free. The virtual colour card shows all 214 Mylands colours on screen, grouped by family, with their numbers and photographs of painted rooms. The four official colour cards can be downloaded as PDFs below (in French), every swatch linking to its colour page. And to judge a shade on real paper painted with real paint, the Colours of London colour card is free and posted to you.

The virtual colour card: nothing to download

The Mylands virtual colour card gathers the whole collection on one page: the Colours of London, Greys & Neutrals, the Archive collection, the Film, Television & Theatre shades, the metallics and the Beata Heuman and Jinny Blom collections. Every swatch carries the colour’s name and number; a click opens its page, its room photographs and its sample pot.

It works on a phone as well as on a computer, with no account and nothing to download, and it is always current: a colour added to the range appears the same day, which no PDF can promise.

01

Filter in two clicks

By family (whites, greys, neutrals, greens, blues, reds, pinks, yellows…), by light, mid or dark tone, by the room’s orientation — north, south, east, west — and by collection.

02

See the colour on a wall

Every colour comes with photographs of rooms actually painted in it — walls, woodwork or doors. A 3 cm swatch does not tell the whole story; a whole living room does.

03

Build your palette

Add colours to your collection, make one the main colour, share the link, save it to your favourites or open it in the visualiser on a photo of your own room.

The paper colour card, free

The Colours of London colour card also exists for real: swatches painted with real paint, in Marble Matt Emulsion, on a folder you hold against your wall. It is free — add it to your basket and it is posted from our warehouse in France.

The Beata Heuman, Jinny Blom and complementary-collection colour cards are also available on the Colour cards page.

When your colour card is ordered on its own, a 10% code for your tins of paint comes with it.

Worth knowing

Screen, PDF, paper: which one to trust?

The screen and the PDF are for choosing; the paper card and the sample pot are for deciding. No screen is calibrated like a pot of paint, and an office printer has neither the pigments nor the matt of Marble Matt Emulsion: a printed PDF gives you a shade’s family and depth, not its exact value. Both are perfect for a first cut of three or four candidates.

Then two steps that cost almost nothing: the free paper card, painted with the real paint, and a 100 ml sample pot brushed on in two coats on a board you move around the room. Our method is described step by step on How to test a paint colour at home, and How light affects colour explains why the same shade changes between a north-facing window and a lamp in the evening.

Frequently asked

The Mylands colour chart, in practice

Is the colour chart really free?
Yes, in all three forms. The virtual colour card can be browsed freely, with no account. The four PDFs download with no sign-up. The Colours of London paper card is free: you add it to your basket as a €0 product and it is posted to you.
Can I print the PDF colour chart?
Yes, on A4 or A3, but an office print reproduces neither the pigments nor the matt of the paint: use it to compare colour families, not to choose the final shade. For that, the free paper card and a sample pot are the only two reliable judges.
How many colours are in the Mylands colour chart?
The virtual colour card shows 214 colours across every range. The PDFs detail 120 for the Colours of London, 56 for Greys & Neutrals, Archive and FTT, 24 for Beata Heuman and 12 for Jinny Blom.
How do I order a sample pot from the colour chart?
In the virtual colour card, open the colour and click “Add sample pot”. In the PDFs, every swatch links to the colour’s page on mylands.fr, where the 100 ml sample pot goes into the basket. Buy two pots and get two more free.
How do I get the paper colour card?
Open the Colours of London colour card page, add it to your basket and place the order: no payment is asked for a colour card on its own. It leaves our warehouse in France by post. The other paper cards are on the Colour cards page.
A colour chart is for shortlisting. A sample pot is for deciding. Both are free, or nearly.
