Metallics

Mylands has deep roots in the entertainment world, and its film, television and theatre (FTT) range pays tribute to the brand's enduring partnership with the British film industry.

Mylands, Britain's oldest family-owned paint manufacturer and a Royal Warrant holder, has long been tied to the entertainment world, and its film, television and theatre (FTT) collection celebrates the brand's enduring relationship with British cinema. Built around a special palette of twenty archive colours, the range features four metallic tones developed specifically for the sector and now, for the very first time, carefully reformulated for use in the home.

The four metallics in Mylands' FTT collection bring a touch of glamour to walls and accent details while also introducing light and warmth into a room. Radiant hints of gold, silver and copper suit interiors of every kind, from bedrooms through to kitchens and dining rooms.

Working only with the finest raw materials and natural earth pigments to create its wide spectrum of beautiful colours, Mylands paints are ideal for transforming rooms and shaping spaces full of life, meaning and feeling. Having collaborated with Film, TV and Theatre clients since the 1920s, Mylands has devoted a full century to refining its original formulations, working relentlessly to produce paint of exceptional performance and quality.

Quick to apply, generous in coverage, hard-wearing and fast-drying, Mylands products are longstanding favourites among set decorators and have appeared in the background of some of Britain's best-loved films, including the then-upcoming Bond film No Time To Die (and indeed every James Bond film since Dr. No), 1917, Star Wars, the entire Harry Potter series, as well as some of the UK's most cherished television, from Downton Abbey and Game of Thrones to Peaky Blinders and Mr Selfridge.
