Mylands Celebrates Women With Rubens at Dulwich Picture Gallery

RUBENS & WOMEN AT DULWICH PICTURE GALLERY: A CELEBRATION OF COLOUR

Mylands is delighted to be an official partner of Dulwich Picture Gallery, having created and supplied bespoke paint to complement its exhibitions since 2017. Founded in 1811, Dulwich Picture Gallery is the world's first purpose-built public art gallery.

Mylands paints are made in Lambeth, South London, so it was natural for us to support such an iconic venue, sharing our passion for colour and located just around the corner from us.

The exhibition walls feature a selection of colours from the Mylands Colours of London collection, including Millbank™ No.254, Bond Street™ No.219, Lock Keeper™ No.18 and Mortlake Red™ No.290.

The current exhibition, Rubens & Women, presents an outstanding range of paintings and drawings from across the Flemish artist Rubens' career, celebrating women and showcasing the varied and important place they occupied, both real and imagined, in his world.
