ACQUIRED
Acquired, founded by Domhnall O Gairbhi, is a new exhibitor to The Decorative Fair, bringing a carefully curated collection of the very finest mid-century modern furniture, lighting, art and design from around the globe, handpicked by O Gairbhi. For his stand, he chose Covent Garden Floral™ No.270 from the Upcycled collection, a reddish pink originally inspired by a wallpaper found in a Covent Garden house; both light and dark, it's versatile for pairing with other colours or elegant on its own for a rosy, natural appearance.
On choosing Mylands, O Gairbhi says: "I really like the broad palette of colours, and in particular the philosophy of creating fabulous colours through the Upcycled initiative."
Acquired can be found at the Autumn Fair at Stand C20.
LINDA JACKSON ANTIQUE SILVER
Linda Jackson has been in the antiques world for thirty years and founded her eponymous business twelve years ago, specialising in a wide range of decorative silver, in particular tea-wares and enamelled silver, collected from all over the world. For this year's Autumn Fair she chose FTT-006™ Shocking Pink, a striking colour that complements her antiques and makes an eye-catching combination against her silver. From the Film, Television and Theatre collection, FTT-006™ Shocking Pink is especially well known for its appearance in the award-winning Barbie film with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling; an equal mix of red and magenta, it's guaranteed to bring character to a space, whether on walls only or as detailing.
Linda Jackson Antique Silver can be found at the Autumn Fair at Stand B05.
BROWN ELLIOTT
Brown Elliott is a family business specialising in British and Continental 18th-, 19th- and mid-century interiors, across furniture, mirrors, lighting and glassware, and also offers an interior decorating service, sourcing exclusively for clients. Their Autumn Fair stand features Dulwich Red, a deep shade inspired by Sir John Soane's own 'Pompeian Red' from his personal library, originally made bespoke for Dulwich Picture Gallery; it draws the pieces on display together, telling a rich narrative of British heritage through the years.
Brown Elliott can be found at the Autumn Fair at Stand A18.
MADEINBRITALY
madeinbritaly, founded by Marco Venturi, seeks to revive the connection between Italy and Great Britain by showcasing contemporary applied arts and collectible designs from both nations, focusing not only on decorative pieces by contemporary artists and makers but also on exquisite practical objects by contemporary designers. Venturi chose FTT-007™ Magenta for his stand, using it in a distinctive way, painting framed outlines and table edges to create an eye-catching design that coincides with the beautiful array of art. Replicate the look by pairing it with Pure White™ No.1 or Maugham White™ No.2.
madeinbritaly can be found at the Autumn Fair at Stand E08.
