Meet the exhibitors
Hudson Antiques Ltd, Stand A06, using Clerkenwell No.21
Hudson Antiques was founded by Darren Hudson in 1992. Having entered the antiques world relatively young, Darren worked for the founder of The Decorative Fair before starting his own business, and to this day he runs Hudson Antiques alongside organising The Decorative Fair itself. Hudson Antiques specialises in items from the 17th to 21st century, sourced on trips to France, Belgium, Italy and beyond, including furniture, mirrors and lighting that provide a sense of fun and provoke interest in design.
Most notably, an Anglo-Indian cupboard (pictured) is being displayed at the Spring Fair, creating a spectacular contrast against Mylands' Clerkenwell No.21. Hudson Antiques has used Mylands for 10 years, with Darren and Mylands CEO Dominic becoming good friends through Dominic's knowledge and passion for paint and wood polishes.
"The range and colours are great and the coverage is fantastic. I find lots of professional painters are always pleased when they find out I've chosen Mylands, as it makes their job much easier than using other brands." - Darren Hudson, founder of Hudson Antiques.
For this year's Spring Fair, Hudson Antiques chose Clerkenwell No.21 to showcase alongside its beautiful antique pieces and complement their intricacy and design. hudsonantiques.co.uk @hudsonantiquesuk. Hudson Antiques Ltd can be found at the Spring Fair at Stand A06.
David Levi Antiques, Stand A08, using Leadenhall™ No.118
David Levi Antiques was founded by its namesake and has dealt in antiques for over thirty years, showing at Portobello Road and at antique fairs across the UK. David specialises in treen, folk art, English vernacular and unusual items.
Most notably at the Spring Fair, he's showcasing an incredible collection of miniature gravestones from a retired stonemason (pictured), set off against Mylands' Leadenhall™ No.118 from our Upcycled Collection. Mylands' Upcycled Collection is a range of our existing 20 iconic colours made from unwanted leftover paints and materials in a high-quality matt finish for interior walls and ceilings, our latest step in the ongoing commitment to minimise paint's impact on the planet.
"I've used Mylands paints over the years. I like Mylands because the paint is so strong and thick that I only need one coat. I chose Mylands' Leadenhall™ No.118 for this fair as the dark colour is good for contrasting with the items I hang on it, and I find darker colours more atmospheric." - David Levi, founder of David Levi Antiques.

Hossack & Gray, Stand A22, using Haymarket™ No.47
Hossack & Gray was established over 20 years ago and is based in both London and Somerset, specialising in decorative antiques, bespoke furniture and upholstery, mainly from the 20th century, to curate interesting, bold decorative touches for the home. At the fair, Hossack & Gray are showcasing a wealth of beautiful objects, including a particularly fine but low-key armchair designed by Danish architect Palle Suenson in its original leather, against a dramatic backdrop of Mylands' Haymarket™ No.47.
"We've used Mylands for over 20 years in our studio for wood finishes. The quality of the product and the excellent range are why we like to use Mylands. We wanted something joyful, warm and classic to work with some darker wood pieces. Haymarket™ No.47 is perfect for this!" - Mary Hossack, Hossack & Gray.
